Energy and Vibration
Task: Sit down for a minute or two and just let your body relax. Let your thoughts come and go. Feel your body, feel each part individually and feel the energy buzzing through every part of your body.
We are living in a sea of energy!
It is a proven fact that we are all made of energy. The cells in our bodies are made of atoms and molecules of energy. And these atoms and molecules are all vibrating together at a specific frequency which makes your body distinguishable from somebody else’s body.
Thoughts also have a vibrational frequency and the reason we cannot see our thoughts like we see our bodies is because thoughts vibrate at a much higher rate than our bodies do. Do you ever wonder how intuitives and psychics receive their information? It’s the same principle to how a radio works. People that have developed their psychic abilities (we all have psychic abilities, it is just a matter of intentionally tuning into this sense and developing or exercising it like we would a muscle) are able to tune into higher and unseen frequencies in the same way that a radio tunes into a radio station set on a certain frequency.
You know when you get certain “vibes” from someone? You are reading their energy. Or when you walk into a room that a fight just took place in and you could “cut the tension with a knife” – another fine example of sensing energy. Or when your meet somebody that is totally “on your level” they are matching your vibration.
Everything in the universe has a vibration. Light has a vibration. Sound has a vibration. We are living in a sea of energy that vibrates. It’s the frequency at which something vibrates, that sets it apart from everything else.
Everything is an energy system that holds differing frequencies and we can work creatively with all energy systems by using our intention.
What determines our vibration?
The simple answer is we do. By the thoughts we think and the choices we make.
How you are feeling and what you are thinking right now is determining your current vibrational frequency or I should say frequencies because the overall vibration state of an energy system is determined by the many frequencies it may hold within it. The higher the frequencies you hold within your energy system, the better you feel the higher your overall vibration will be. If you are feeling “low” this means your vibration is holding many more lower frequencies than what it usually would be at that time.
So what are the things that lower your vibration?
- Certain foods – calorie dense, heavy, fried, sugary processed foods.
- Stress and resistance to what is
- Uncomfortable emotions – anger, guilt, anxiety, shame.
- Judging others
- Being unconsciously stuck on autopilot
- Being closed minded, stuck in your ways, stubborn and immovable
- Self medicating/addictions – Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs etc
- Violence and Abusive behaviour patterns
We are powerful natural healers. Our bodies are amazing at healing themselves once they are given time and space in which to do so BUT if you are not letting your vibration balance out beware (be-aware)! When our bodies are vibrating at a lower level for a prolonged period of time, the energy in our bodies gets stagnant and blocked in places. And this is how disease is created in our bodies.
The Law of Attraction and our vibration
Basically “like attracts like”.
If you are vibrating at a certain level, then you are going to attract people, things and experiences that match that level of vibration.
If you want a new car, you have a clear picture of it in your mind and you take the time to visualise it and feel how it would feel to have that car in your reality, the universe has no other choice but to match you up with that vibration.
If you look around you and all you see are the things that are lacking in your life –that’s the level at which you are vibrating and the universe has to match that vibration.
This is why being aware of ourselves is so important because 24-7 we are creating our reality. Which would you rather? A reality that you are in control of or a reality that controls you? I know which one I choose!
Tips for raising your vibration
Healthy eating – Water and nutrient dense foods such as Fruit, Vegetables and organic food wherever possible.
Physical activity – Exercise, dancing and much more!
Being in Nature – If you’re feeling ungrounded – a bit up in the air, walking barefoot in the garden is a great grounding exercise
Being by the sea – Being by the sea balances your energy
Yoga – form of meditation which naturally raises your vibration
Energy therapies – removes any energy blockages and balances your energy
Living in the present moment
Love, compassion and forgiveness– are also energies that you can call in and they have the highest vibrational frequencies. Imagine your body filling up full to capacity and send it to someone who needs it the most!
